December 19, 2018 Wednesday Today was our final day at Las Cruces Biological Center and we had our final presentations. I enjoyed a nice hike afterwords and got caught in the rain.
December 18, 2018 Tuesday On this day we went on a night hike. It was a very fun hike we were guided by celestino (spelling probably wrong). We hiked down the jungle trail and we learned a lot. It was fun to see all the activity at night. After the jungle trail we went into the botanical garden to explore.
December 17th, 2018 Monday We spent this day still identifying species. We also went to pick up two of our trail cameras and we got to see a great owl butterfly. I was really enjoying my glass slide rig.
December 16th, 2018 Sunday Today was our free day. I decided to sleep in and then go to town. San Vito was very tiny, but I got to explore the town and learned a lot of Spanish along the way by talking or reading signs.
December 15th, 2018 This was one of our last field day and it was spent identifying invertebrates. We identified 3 samples this day and it almost took up our whole day. Finally, we decided to go on a nice walk on a short path we have never been on. The path was full of bromeliads and we seen a very gorgeous mot mot.
